We are not a survivor services provider, but we want to give you the resources to find what you are looking for.

I Need Immediate Help to escape, and Am Being Held Against My Will

The following services offer help to current victims seeking help to escape. If you are in immediate danger or your life is at risk, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 888-373-7888 or 911.

Services in the U.S.:

  • National Human Trafficking Hotline – The National Human Trafficking Hotline offers Federal services for all in every situation. You can also call their 24/7 hotline at 888-373-7888. If you are afraid for your safety or the safety of others, you can text the hotline to get immediate help and connected to services within your area.

  • National Child Protection Task Force – National Child Protection Task Force provides services for children at risk and protection for current or former victims.

  • The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) – RAINN is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN also offers safety and support after sexual abuse. You can call their helpline 800-656-HOPE for 24/7 assistance


I Am A Survivor and Escaped Trafficking. What Now?

If you have escaped from sexual abuse, exploitation or trafficking, the following services are available for you. For services by state, start at Matrix of OVC-Funded Human Trafficking Services Grantees and Task Forces. For protection and safety, start at the U.S. Marshal’s Service or Office for Victims of Crime.


I Need Counselling and Support

If you need counselling and support after abuse or help with traumatic events, the following websites offer support specific to sexual trauma.


I’m Receiving Counseling and Support, But I Need Help Supporting Myself

If you need safe housing, medical, financial or nutritional support, the following services are available for you.

  • Office of Family Assistance – ACF provides states with block grants to design and operate programs to meet Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) goals.

  • Medicaid – The Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) is committed to working in close partnership with states, as well as providers, families, and other stakeholders to support effective, innovative, and high quality health coverage programs.

  • Hud’s Public Housing Program – Public housing was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) – SNAP provides food benefits to low-income families to supplement their grocery budget so they can afford the nutritious food essential to health and well-being.

  • Moore & VanAllen – Survivor Financial Courses – Moore & VanAllen has provided an online financial literacy course to help survivors navigate their finances after trafficking. This course will allow you to learn about financial stability and take control of your money.
